Professor Ibrahim Odeh
Professor Ibrahim Odeh is Founding Director of Global Leaders in Construction Management (GLCM) program at Columbia University. He is a unique combination of a strategist, academic, innovator, and entrepreneur. His work merges the worlds of industry and academia, spans the global construction market, and provides leading construction firms with unique market insights; growth strategies; and advice on digital transformation and technological trends that are reshaping the construction industry. Odeh was also the first Prof to introduce the first MOOC to educate global learners in Construction under the Coursera platform. The number of learners who took his courses reached over 500,000 globally with around 1,000 new learners joining weekly! Odeh won several awards such as the Columbia University Presidential Award for Outstanding Teaching, Top 20 Under 40 by Engineering News Records, Top 40 Under 40 by Consulting-Specifying Engineer. Odeh has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds an MBA.
