Steve Wolf
Steve Wolf, CEO of Team Wildfire, is revolutionizing wildfire suppression, using jet engines; applying 30 years of experience as a Hollywood special effects coordinator. He’s worked for Tom Cruise and James Cameron, and stunt doubled for Whitney Houston and Al Pacino. His “Science in the Movies” program won the “STEM Presenter of the Year Award.” Raised in Switzerland and NYC, he credits his multicultural childhood for his problem-solving skills, which come down to looking at problems from new perspectives. He has a degree in Writing & Literature from Columbia University, where he studied Shakespeare. Wolf has held roles from EMT to actor, TV producer to pre-school teacher, SCUBA and firearms instructor, to author. He’s written 12 books, 4 patents, owned 6 companies, and raised three sons as a single dad. He’s also the expert witness against Alec Baldwin. He thrives on diverse challenges, makes every day count, and is driven by curiosity, optimism, and persistence.
