Samantha Atzeni
When Samantha Atzeni was seven, she left her own birthday party to write her first “novel.” This lack of social awareness fueled a writing path from young adulthood and continued through college, earning a B.A. in Professional Writing and Journalism and a Master of Arts in English. Life took an unexpected turn when she entered academia and taught as an adjunct writing instructor for 15 years. However, thanks to working with students and exploring the many aspects of writing, she was able to co-create Read Furiously, a traditional publishing house that works to provide an inclusive and sustainable reading experience. Much of her academic experience helped build the systems she uses in her publishing house. Samantha chose to become a writer because she didn’t think she could do anything else. She is the co-author of The MOTHER Principle graphic novel series and The Legend of Dave Bradley and W(h)ine and Cheese in the One 'n Done series.
