Gary Sprouse, MD
Dr. Gary Sprouse was born in 1956. He grew up in the Mid-Atlantic region in a row house with his parents and 4 siblings. He started working as a newspaper boy at the age of 11, but decided by age 13 that he wanted to be a doctor to help people. In high school he earned accolades as the captain of the wrestling team, scholastic athlete of the year and salutatorian of his class. He attended George Washington University for his Bachelor’s degree. He continued his studies at GWU for his medical school training where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Dr Sprouse set up his medical practice in an underserved area in the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He has been a PCP for 38 years and has had a lot of stress throughout the years and has employed his own stress reducers. He sings karaoke, plays pickup basketball, travels, reads and loves to dress up for Halloween. He is leading seminars on stress reduction. He has a mission to help a million people live in their Happy Place.
