Geoff Kane MD
Dr. Geoff Kane has served as Chief of Addiction Services at the Brattleboro Retreat from 2003 to 2023 and continues to serve the Retreat in Emeritus status. In 2017, he founded Meetinghouse Solutions, LLC, an organization devoted to promoting resilience and recovery at the community level. Dr. Kane is a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, a Certified Group Psychotherapist, and author of Inner-City Alcoholism and The Two Pillars of Recovery® Workbook. He hosts the podcast Beyond The Two Pillars of Recovery and is the principal writer of the Blog, Addiction Medicine Updates on ncadd.org. Dr. Geoff Kane is a graduate of Boston College, Yale School of Medicine, and Yale School of Public Health. He trained in internal medicine and social medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.
