Supporting emerging and evolving women business owners
July 24, 2019
Hosted by Colleen Biggs
This week, Lead Up for Women is joined by two very special guests that are HUGE supporters of Women business owners. Erin Joy will join us as our guest speaker in Columbus, OH for our monthly luncheon and she knew, from experience, that it’s lonely at “the top”. So she founded a company, Black Dress Circle to support those female Entrepreneurs with Facilitated round tables for emerging and evolving women business owners who crave a forum for processing real-world business challenges alongside their peers. MR. Lorenzo Hickey will also join us as my guest co-host on the show. Lorenzo support females in his personal life and he will share with us how his company, Shape Shift supports Women CEO’s daily.
Lead Up for Women: Speak Up to Lead Up
Wednesday at 10 AM Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel
Be the leader you wish you had. Lead Up for Women increases the influence of women in business and beyond through effective networking, increased visibility and partnerships. We are passionate and focused on what we can do to connect, influence and lead every woman and know we all long to belong and to have a community that accepts and celebrates all of our identities, not just the ones that others accept. Lead Up for Women’s: Speak Up to Lead Up radio show invites you to be inspired to lead without permission through the inspiration of our guests’ stories of survival, overcoming adversity, and their celebrations in business, their community and their personal lives. You are in control of your story, so be the badass leader you know you are. Gain the courage through our strong womanhood support so you can live your best life. You are the only you there is, and you are the only you that will ever be. Be you and be strong because you are brilliant, and the world needs you at your best.
Colleen Biggs wants equality for women. She believes that living your best life means choosing to Lead Up without permission. She survived an early childhood of chaos, loss, and abuse; through these trials she was able to accomplish her lifelong pursuit to love unconditionally. She is an inspiration to others by helping them realize their worth so they can influence others to do the same. She has extensive experience in franchising, voluntary national and local community service, and project launches. She serves as a director for her church and organizes women’s retreats, local girls’ camps, and launched the successful business she co-founded, Lead Up for Women. She continues to learn, lead, and support others in business and in life. She has a passion for fitness, and enjoys coaching, teaching kickboxing classes, and training individuals for a happy and healthy life.
