It is important to establish realistic goals regarding growth of the business and the financial requirements of daily operations. Analyze the business and determine a fair selling price for the seller of the business.
The primary message to both buyers and sellers is to provide insight on how to sell and buy an existing business. Secondly is to make certain both parties are mentally, physically and financially ready to operate a small business. Lastly does the buyer have the expertise in the type of business you are planning to buy or are you going to hire or retain an employee to manage the business for you?
